Yogurt Pops

Nothing beats a cool treat on the hot summer days!!! These are super simple and can easily be customized to each child's taste!

All you need is your favorite yogurt, 1 paper cup per person a spoon, and a 'stick' for your pops. I couldn't find popsicle sticks to save my life so we improvised with a couple orange peelers! I also put a foil lined cookie sheet under it in case things got messy!

Have your little one spoon the yogurt into the paper cups.......

By the time she got to hers she was able to hold the container and spoon it in by herself!

After both cups were filled we 'shook' them to level out the yogurt. Then we stuck our sticks in. Little man's yogurt didn't quite fill the cup far enough to hold the stick up but it will still work!!

Stick your cups in the freezer for 4-6 hours and allow to fully freeze!! If you find that the sticks won't stand in the middle leave them in there and then after about 30 minutes to an hour (depending on your freezer) when the yogurt starts to stiffen up stand it back up and it should stay!

Once it is frozen you just need to peel the cup off.......

Then, they are ready to eat!!!!

Bug LOVED it!! So much so she made another one today!!! Little man, no so much!! He liked the taste but wasn't fond of how cold it was!

He decided it made a better drum stick :)

These yogurt pops are simple enough that Bug made one all by herself today! She only needed help putting it in the freezer!!!  What better way to build your kiddos confidence in the kitchen?!?!?

We love to see what you guys are doing!! Feel free to leave comments and pictures below or on our FACEBOOK page!!!
