This is a fun way to start off your day!!
All you need is a toasted waffle (or toast), plastic knife, butter/ margarine, food coloring, a bowl to make your colored butter, a paper plate.
Put your butter in the bowl making sure it is soft enough that you can mix it
Start by spreading the butter out in the bowl
Add a few drops of food coloring to the butter...
Using your plastic knife stir the butter till it is all the same color
Let your child spread the butter on their waffle (or toast) by themselves
This is our creation this morning!!!
We don't like plain butter so I added just a tiny bit of peanut butter but making sure we could still see what she did.
